J+S course in Vezia: Judo for people with intellectual disabilities

On Saturday, September 6th, a very special J+S course took place in Vezia (TI). Not only leaders from Ticino, but also participants from Graubünden, St. Gallen, Thurgau, Zurich and Aargau traveled to the village near Lugano to be there. For the first time, a course was offered in Ticino that combined so many practical examples of Adaptive Judo in Switzerland. The focus was on the special characteristics of various disability profiles and the respectful treatment of young people. Through vivid exercises, the theory was conveyed in a lively and understandable way for everyone.
