Floorball Tournament – an Emotional Sporting Highlight

On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the 15th Special Olympics Floorball Tournament took place in the GBC Sports Hall. 15 teams from Switzerland and Austria competed in exciting group matches across three categories.

A total of 121 athletes, along with their coaches and supervisors, ensured an atmospheric and accident-free tournament day full of fair play, enthusiasm, and great athletic achievements.

Greetings were extended by Thierry Jeanneret (Head of AVS GraubündenSport) and Yvan Cuennet (Sport Official SOSWI). The games were professionally managed by L-UPL players from FloorballChurUnited, who also presented medals and gifts at the festive award ceremony.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all the helpers, partners, coaches, companions, athletes, and spectators who made this day an unforgettable experience.
