Floorball at Zurich Main Station – a sport becomes an experience

At the U19 World Cup promo event at Zurich Main Station, spectators experienced all facets of floorball. In the morning, a women’s and family tournament took place, and in the afternoon, the nearly 30 participants of the Special Olympics Discovery Days got to know the sport of floorball better with a demo game. Later in the afternoon, interested kids were able to train with the U19 national team, ask questions, and get autographs. The floorball team that represented Special Olympics at the World Winter Games Turin 2025 was also introduced and shared their valuable and unforgettable experiences.

Many thanks to Swiss Floorball for their dedicated cooperation and the great platform we were able to use to introduce Special Olympics to a wider audience.

The event photos were provided to us. Thank you very much.
