Experience and discover sports – at the Regional Games & the Discovery Day in Rapperswil-Jona

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the area around the Grünfeld sports hall in Jona will be transformed into a place of encounter, joy, and sporting competitions: The Regional Games of Special Olympics Switzerland will bring around 250 athletes with intellectual disabilities to the region to compete in football, Tennis, and Boccia.

At the same time, the Discovery Day offers the opportunity to get to know the world of Special Olympics. In a playful setting, interested parties can try out new sports, learn interesting facts about the world’s largest sports movement for people with disabilities, and experience the special atmosphere firsthand.
