Inclusive Sport Seminar 2024

The Inclusive Sport Seminar 2024 was attended by 69 individuals from the fields of sport and disability, including representatives from sports federations, disability organizations, para-sports organizations, Swiss Olympic, cantons, and other institutions.

The seminar featured a series of engaging presentations on “Good Practice” examples from various sectors, such as the Canton of Neuchâtel, Swiss Handball, the Atypique 3×3 project, and the City of Winterthur. Additionally, there was a presentation about Swiss Olympic’s new role and a moderated discussion with an affected individual.

A highlight of the event was the panel discussion, where people with lived experience, alongside representatives from Swiss Olympic, academia, and the Association of Swiss Sports Offices (ASSA), discussed how inclusion in sport should and will evolve over the next ten years.

The attentive audience actively participated with many questions, contributing to engaging discussions.
