Successful 2nd network meeting for inclusion in sports in St. Gallen

On Monday, November 18, the 2nd network meeting for inclusion in sports in the canton of St. Gallen took place at the Ost – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule. Over 80 participants from various fields took the opportunity to exchange ideas and gain new impetus for inclusive sports programs.

The event brought together institutions, organizations, associations, and representatives from St. Gallen cities. Numerous sports clubs were also present, some of which are already actively implementing inclusive sports programs, while others would like to take their first steps in this direction.

Lena Thoma, coordinator for inclusion in sports, provided information in her input on the basics of inclusion in sports and current developments in the canton of St. Gallen. The short presentations by eight Unified Clubs, who presented their inclusive programs, were particularly inspiring.

The event concluded with an exciting panel discussion led by Patrik Baumer, head of the Office of Sport of the Canton of St. Gallen.
