Special Olympics Athletes at the Swiss Golf Championship

For the third time, athletes from Special Olympics were able to participate in the Swiss Golf Championship. The tournament took place on July 28 in Blumisberg as part of the final day of the Swiss Golf Championship. Swiss Golf is committed to making the Swiss Championship inclusive for the best amateurs in the country and therefore offers a Special Olympics tournament and a PluSport tournament on the final day.

This offer has become very popular in the golfing community and the tournament in Blumisberg was a success. The Special Olympics tournament in Level 4 was very exciting, with six golfers participating for the first time.

Special Olympics Switzerland is very pleased about the collaboration with Swiss Golf and thanks the association for its commitment to inclusive Golf.
