Short Track

Short Track is an English term. While classic Speed Skating takes place on a 400-meter track, the more recent Short Track variant uses a shorter, oval track of only 111 meters. The athlete who crosses the finish line first wins. This sport is continuously being developed in preparation for the World Winter Games 2029 in Switzerland.

Competition Format

Currently, no official competition format or regulations are available in Switzerland.
