National Winter Games – Closing Event for all Volunteers

Three years of preparation, four days of event, countless moments of happiness and a financially successful conclusion: the OC of the National Winter Games Haslital Brienz 2024 has dissolved at its last meeting and at the volunteer dinner last weekend, the incredible commitment of all involved was duly recognized once again.

“There have been numerous major events in the Haslital Brienz region in the past, but none that moved the local population and visitors so much.” OC Co-President Gerhard Fischer is still deeply impressed by the unique and incredibly emotional atmosphere during the National Games Haslital Brienz 2024. And he is grateful that the event was ultimately also a financial success.

Over 150 volunteers, sponsors and guests attended the last official event of the Winter Games 2024 at the Hotel Panorama in Reuti. Also present was Bruno Barth, Managing Director of Special Olympic Switzerland (SOSWI). He too was and is impressed by how the entire population stood behind this event: “At the opening ceremony, at the medal ceremonies in the middle of the village and also with the countless local volunteers who organized these Games and implemented them with a lot of passion. Thank you all.”
