On Saturday, January 25, 2025, more than 30 participants met in Arosa for the second Discovery Day. The winter sports destination Arosa and Special Olympics Switzerland invited people to a day of fun in the snow, and athletes from all over Switzerland came to the venue of the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2029. They were offered plenty: The focus was on competition training for the athletes according to their abilities, with the communication of the sports philosophy of Special Olympics. Lessons in skiing and snowboarding were offered. The highlight was exciting competition runs. The event was supported by the Swiss Ski School Arosa and the Arosa Ski Club.
