Special Olympics places great emphasis on ensuring that coaches are well-trained to optimally support athletes with intellectual disabilities in training. The concept is based on various modules to promote skills in the respective sport as well as in dealing with people with disabilities. Swissteach very generously supports Special Olympics in digitizing the training programs and making them accessible to a wider audience. The “Global Teach®” learning management system is provided to Special Olympics free of charge. It enables the modules to be offered online and also automates registrations and the sending of certificates.
