A small delegation from Special Olympics Switzerland looks back on a successful week at the “Gothia Cup”, an international football tournament in Gothenburg that has welcomed Special Olympics teams from all over the world for many years. With great dedication, strong team spirit, and immense joy in playing, the Swiss footballers competed against a variety of opponents and ultimately achieved 4th place in their category. In addition to exciting matches on the field, the Swiss experienced unforgettable moments off the pitch and return home with new friendships, valuable experiences, and great motivation.
