The March Cup celebrates an anniversary!

For the 10th time, teams from all over Switzerland came together for this special tournament. A total of 19 teams took to the field and showed, with great commitment, team spirit and joy, what they’re capable of.

What began ten years ago is now a fixture in the calendars of many athletes. Behind the event is Daniel Reichmuth, who organizes the March Cup with great dedication. “When I see the athletes’ faces, it makes me incredibly happy. It makes me proud,” he says about the anniversary.

The event was held in collaboration with Special Olympics Switzerland and also enjoyed prominent support: Damian Meier, Head of Social Affairs for the Canton of Schwyz, was a special guest on site.

Alongside exciting matches, the special atmosphere and many emotional moments made for a thoroughly successful anniversary. And yes—of course, a song of its own couldn’t be missing.

Anyone who missed the March Cup or would like to relive the highlights can find everything at a glance on the event page: rankings, the song, the Tele 1 TV report and many more impressions.
