The anticipation for the Games increases as the torch arrives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On May 7<\/strong>, the Special Olympics torch will reach Zug \u2013 a very special moment on the way to the National Summer Games<\/strong>. The torch represents courage, inclusion, and solidarity worldwide. Carried by athletes and police officers from the International Police Association (IPA), it connects communities and makes the values of Special Olympics visible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After its journey from Meiringen over the Br\u00fcnig, through Nidwalden and Lucerne, the torch will now be carried through Zug \u2013 from Landsgemeindeplatz along the lake, through the old town to the OYM-Hall on Arenaplatz<\/strong>. Exactly where Switzerland’s most emotional sporting event will begin shortly afterwards. This torch will be used to light the Flame of Hope at the opening ceremony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be there, run along, cheer us on, or join us as a spectator. Every person counts \u2013 and together we will send a strong signal for inclusion, community, and appreciation<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
