However, not all children, young people, and adults with cognitive impairment regularly have access to sports and movement. Often, there is a lack of accessible programs that make it easier to get started. But Discovery Days are more than just sports: they are a <strong>meeting place for families, schools, clubs and institutions<\/strong>. This is where contacts, friendships and networks are formed that last even after the event.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why It&#8217;s Worth It<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<ul style=\"padding-left:40px\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gain first experiences<\/strong>: playfully, openly, and without pressure of expectation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Try out new sports<\/strong> \u2013 and get to know suitable local offers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience community<\/strong>: encounters with like-minded people, clubs, and experts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Strengthen health and self-confidence<\/strong> \u2013 casually, with joy and movement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Goal<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By 2030, we aim to organize <strong>120 Discovery Days<\/strong> across Switzerland and thus enable over <strong>1,500 participants<\/strong> to experience unforgettable sporting moments.
