{"id":12288,"date":"2024-11-17T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-17T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/specialolympics.ch\/blog\/2024\/11\/17\/lucians-extraordinary-running-challenge-join-us-on-december-15\/"},"modified":"2025-09-29T17:34:33","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T15:34:33","slug":"lucians-extraordinary-running-challenge-join-us-on-december-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soswi.compresso.website\/en\/blog\/2024\/11\/17\/lucians-extraordinary-running-challenge-join-us-on-december-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Lucian&#8217;s Extraordinary Running Challenge \u2013 Join Us on December 15!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dedicated teacher and triathlete Lucian Hofstetter is starting an extraordinary running challenge on December 1st that combines sport and inclusion: Every day he will run one kilometer more \u2013 starting with 1 kilometer on December 1st up to 31 kilometers on December 31st, bringing him to an impressive total of 496 kilometers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of this challenge is to collect donations for the 39 Special Olympics athletes who will represent Switzerland at the 2025 World Winter Games in Turin. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 15, Lucian invites all running enthusiasts to join him and do a few laps with him. He would be very happy about that! The run starts at 9.30 a.m. in Zug at the Herti stadium. <a href=\"https:\/\/files.soswi.compresso.website\/Homepage\/Medien\/News\/2024\/Flyer_community%20run.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More information in the flyer<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation is open to everyone. Every support counts, whether you run one or fifteen kilometers.
