These initial selection races kicked off two days of sporting highlights and emotional moments at Interlaken Airfield, as the Pararace association stated in a Sunday press release. From 1:30 PM, the final races started, with distances ranging from 500 to 10,000 meters. A total of 60 participants competed on Saturday. Despite the rainy weather, only happy faces were seen at the finish line.
