{"id":23328,"date":"2023-06-13T08:50:55","date_gmt":"2023-06-13T06:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/specialolympics.ch\/en\/veranstaltungen\/23328"},"modified":"2025-11-25T11:11:01","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T10:11:01","slug":"football-tournament","status":"publish","type":"soswi_events","link":"https:\/\/soswi.compresso.website\/en\/events\/23328","title":{"rendered":"Football Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The football tournament took place in Oberburg on May 4, 2024. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Luckily, contrary to all our expectations, we were able to start the football tournament on Saturday morning with 22 teams from all over Switzerland in good weather and glorious sunshine, instead of rain and rubber boots. In addition to the German-speaking Swiss, we were able to welcome teams from Surava GR, Liechtenstein, Ticino, and French-speaking Switzerland. 230 players, along with their companions and fans, were guests in Oberburg. They fought, laughed, and cried in various categories&#8230;.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winners of the various categories were honored with a trophy. The SAZ, Burgdorf once again provided us with lunch, and all 400 portions were enjoyed. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We congratulate everyone for the great performance, you all did wonderfully!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tournament day was a great success, and it was a great pleasure for us as FC Blau-Weiss to carry out this tournament with Special Olympics Switzerland. Many thanks to everyone who supported us financially and of course to all the voluntary helpers of the 2nd team FC Blau Weiss Oberburg. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nice that you were all there. It was a great pleasure!
