The sport requires athletes to have a certain level of technique, balance, and quick reactions to adapt to the changing conditions of the course and track.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Competition Format<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"margin-top:-12px;margin-bottom:-12px\">In competitions, a distinction is made between two levels (Intermediate and Advanced). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The levels differ in the length of the race track, the steepness, and the difficulty of the set course. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alpine Skiing is an established and popular sport at Special Olympics Switzerland. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Special Olympics Switzerland is also invited to international competitions and World Games. We forward invitations to international events to athletes and sports groups who are active with us.
