On October 26, 2024, the pétanque tournament took place in Trimbach.
On October 26, 2024, 14 teams of three met at the Trimbach boulodrome for a pétanque tournament.
6 sports groups were represented: Rütimattli Sarnen, Sunneschyn Meiringen, Kästeli Pratteln, Züriwerk Bubikon, Les Perce-Neige Fontainemelon, and Les Amis des Boules from Zug. The participants were happy to see each other again and play a tournament together.
A set of medals was contested in each of the 3 categories. Everyone gave their best, resulting in exciting and sometimes close games. Every good throw was cheered. Despite the great concentration of the players throwing the boules, the atmosphere was cheerful and exuberant.
It was a successful event that also attracted some visitors. A big thank you goes to the Trimbach Pétanque Club for their great support in the kitchen, at the bar, and as referees.
